Well, personally I am suprised that others have not greeted you, but it might help if you post in the newbie forum. Also, in this community, you might learn the tricks of the trade and be able to make your own wallpapers!

To level up, you just have to be active by posting in the forums, commenting on others work, and uploading scans and wallpapers (that you have made). In other words, each little thing that you do affects your level.
